OPP Week 1
And that phantom moon is a window too,
stars look through the darkness
to some Summer noon,
where our ghosts still move
among the winds that blow.
You were my soul in my silence.
You were my hope, my likeness.
You were the sword at my side,
through all the winds that blow.
stars look through the darkness
to some Summer noon,
where our ghosts still move
among the winds that blow.
You were my soul in my silence.
You were my hope, my likeness.
You were the sword at my side,
through all the winds that blow.

Crap. I know it's Duncan Sheik, The Winds That Blow. No idea what the album is. Will have to google that too.
The album is phantom moon, which I expected would be a give away as its in the lyrics, but nonetheless... Mary Wins! Congrats. I'll have to come up with a pretty awesome poem for you as the first OPP winner ever. Look for it Sunday.
Dang, I just found this new blog project of yours and I knew the artist and song after the first like 3 words!
That's cool though. Mary beat me.
I really love this song and can't wait to hear what you have to say about its lyrics.
In fact, maybe it would be cool if people felt so inclined to talk about their experience with the lyrics/poems? Just a thought for the future if you feel like you need to add a little spice, or maybe things will naturally go that way.
By all means...
Huzzah!
